Greetings Family and Friends,
It is with great pleasure that I write to you, even in these difficult and uncertain times. Recently, I heard a song that Rory Feek rerecorded that was written by Bob Dylan called, “The Times They Are A-Changin.” Certainly, we all understand that the times are changing, and those changes are not always good. But God is still in charge, and He is the same today as He was yesterday and will be tomorrow. God is faithful and good all the time. I want to encourage you to be faithful to God in changing times.
I thank God for those who have been faithful in church attendance and participation in the ministry of Bethany Baptist. If you are a member or have been a regular guest and have not attended in a while, you have been missed. Your church family has not forgotten you and we hope you have not forgotten us. We continue to have our regular service times at Bethany: Sunday School 10am, Worship 11am, Evening Worship 5:30pm, and on Wednesday – Youth 6:30, Children 6:45, Adults 7pm. God graciously gives us opportunities to obey His command to “not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some” (Hebrews 10:25). Besides our regular times of gathering there are other times we hope you will choose to gather with us:
-
Women’s Bible Study that meets at 6:30pm on Mondays
-
Men’s Bible Study that meets at 6:30am on Saturdays
-
Egg Hunt & other activities April 16 from 10am-1pm. Come hear the Easter story, decorate your own egg, have fun with a confetti egg toss, boiled egg throw, 18-inch slide, pizza, and ice cream truck.
-

It is my desire that whenever we gather for worship or whatever the activity is, we will “do all to the glory of God”(1 Cor. 10:31). I hope to see you soon in one of our services or participating in our activities, “For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.” Psalm 149:4 (NKJV)
Sincerely and prayerfully,
Timothy Edmonds, Pastor
